I'm the Emmy® Award-Winning television host of WHYY's Check, Please! Philly, a television show that highlights dining throughout the Philadelphia region. I also write and hosts WHYY’s Delishtory, a digital series exploring the history of food. As a freelance food and travel writer, I've been published in KitchenAid Stories, Resy, USA TODAY, 10Best, Roads & Kingdoms and more.

As a storyteller I'm obsessed with the history and culture of cuisine. I finds that the spirit of a place is often expressed through food. My culinary travels have taken me across four continents from exploring the Spice Route through Israel and Europe to foraging with the Māori in New Zealand. I live by the motto “life is too short to live anything but deliciously.”
