I am currently a junior fashion merchandising major at the University of Delaware. I am extremely hard working and have a love for fashion that the average individual would probably find silly. I have interned for interior designers and this summer I will be interning for a fashion company called Adrianna Papell, where I will be working as a merchandiser. I am very creative, and although I am studying the business side of fashion, my favorite part of fashion is styling. For right now, I only style myself, but have a great time doing it. I am not afraid to go outside of the box and take risks. I dress for me and me only, it does not really bother me if other people don't like what I wear. I think that it's really important for people to wear what they want, what's true to them, not what other people are wearing.

It is really important to me that I wear what I want, and I don't let other people's opinions persuade me. I always start styling by figuring out the zeitgeist. Knowing the zeitgeist always has an influence on what I wear and how I wear it. Next, I find garments that I love. I find things that I am really drawn too and figure out different ways to wear them. Finally, the entire outfit is ready to be worn and I am ready to go out and wear it. The end goal for my fashion career would definitely be to be styling for a fashion magazine or company, but for right now, I am just trying to learn as much about the business as possible.
