Mark Kafantaris

Mark Kafantaris is a graduate of The Ohio State University (B.A.) and Capital University Law School (J.D., magna cum laude), where he concentrated his studies in Constitutional litigation. During law school, he served as a judicial extern to Ohio Supreme Court Justice Evelyn Lundberg Stratton and U.S. District Judge Algenon Marbley. Mark also worked for Columbus City Attorney Rick Pfeiffer at the City Prosecutor’s Office before entering into private practice.

Since then, Mark has represented hundreds of clients in a myriad of cases at nearly every level. He regularly appears on behalf of Chapter 7 and 13 debtors in bankruptcy court and handles civil and criminal cases in state and federal court, including appeals to the Tenth District and Sixth Circuit. He has also petitioned the U.S. Supreme Court for a writ of certiorari.

Mark’s practice also includes administrative cases before the Social Security Administration for Supplemental Security Income (“SSI”) and Social Security Disability Insurance Benefits. (“SSDIB”)
