Kahena Gallerani ( actress/ model)was born and raised til 8 years old in Sao Bernardo do Campo, Brazil. Daughter of her bank teller mother, Maria Angélica Wingeter and father, Pedro Sergio Gallerani with whom she had little contact. She also has a sister, Iramaia Gallerani psychologist, and a half sister Nathara Wingeter, a veterinary student.

The family has always faced financial problems, so as an 8 year old she went to live with her maternal grandparents in a small town called Sao Manuel, leaving her sisters, mother and stepfather in the capital. When she was 11, her mother and sisters moved to a small town near her grandparents, to distance themselves from the abuse of a stepfather in Bauru.

With a difficult childhood to put behind her, Kahena at age 16 moved alone to the greatest capital in the country, Sao Paulo, to follow her dream: to be the most respected and successful Brazilian actress in the world.

In love with film, the actress lives in Los Angeles.

She is a voracious reader and her favorite novelists include Og Mandino, Marian Keyes, Martha Medeiros, Khaled Hosseini etc. And she loves to write, work out at the gym alone, to meditate at the beach, and eat ( her favorite food is the Brazilian feijoada and brigadeiro). She is fluent in Portuguese, Spanish and English.
