As a writer, I am a blazing sun. Shining at its brightest, but hiding behind swollen clouds. I am the sun shining at its brightest because most of the time my writing is excellent. I still shine behind clouds because sometimes I have days where my writing may not be the best but i still put in effort. To start off, I write all my ideas down and build around it. I plan my ideas ahead of time so I already know what I'm going to write about. I'd rather have everything planned out before I write a good draft. I'd do this for essays. It makes the process way easier and helps keep information organized.

Occasionally I start off by free writing and build or omit some thoughts. This technique is more helpful depending on the style I am writing like poems. I take joy in writing poems. They help express feelings and take things off of your mind. To me, they take place of a diary or journal. Writing is not something I major in but I still enjoy it.
