Kaillie Hall is a first year Sport Media student at Ryerson University and member of the varsity women’s basketball team. Prior to her arrival at Ryerson she spent a year studying Business Management at Bowling Green State University on a full NCAA Division One Athletic Scholarship, in which she made the Dean’s Honour Roll with a 3.9 grade point average. Kaillie attended St. Mary’s Catholic Secondary School where she was an Honours Student and Ontario Scholar while participating in various extra-curricular activities. Kaillie was a two-time member of the Ontario Scholastic Basketball Associations All-Academic Team, which recognizes the player of each team with the highest-grade point average.
Growing up immersed in the world of sport, Kaillie has always prioritized her academic and basketball careers. Being a member of Team Ontario and representing the Canadian National Team have been opportunities that have helped shaped her playing career and her personal values. Being a student-athlete for most of her life has taught her important skills such as hard work, collaboration, time management, building a winning culture and resilience. Kaillie prioritizes the concept of passing the game onto the next generation of young females through her youth training business. She also enjoys creative content design on all social media platforms.
Kaillie Hall hopes to pursue a career within the professional sport production industry, specifically focusing on social media marketing, graphic design, and video production. Her current experience in retail has sparked her to grow her personal brand on both YouTube and Instagram, with the goal of eventually being recognized as an influencer. Rooted in her faith, Kaillie will continue to contribute to her community through various mission trips, assisting in her parish, and being a public advocate for athletes mental-health.
