Kaitlyn Budzak

I am currently a grade nine student at Balfour Collegiate. Many of my peers would describe me as outgoing, loud, and organized to the extreme. Throughout my winter months, I stay involved in the South Saskatchewan Female Hockey League as a right wing and my teams’ assistant captain. My dad, (who has also been my coach) as well as my brother are both very involved as hockey players, so it only comes naturally. Some of my other interests would include playing guitar, hanging out with friends, and being outside. My family not only has a home in the city, but we also have a lakefront cabin out at long lake. My family and I spend most of our summer out there relaxing in the sunshine, and taking full advantage of the lake for leisure. Without the beach, boat, Sea-doo and many tubes, summer would just not be the same. As I mentioned before, I regularly get comments about how “over the top organized” I am. I believe this is due to my years participating in SRC (Student Representative Council). It is not only something I enjoy being a part of, but it keeps me on my toes. Friends and family are a big part of my life, and I do believe that will never change. I love music with a passion and being crazy is what I love to do. I am a very extraverted person, and I love socializing with people. All and all, I like to have fun and be myself, and if you were to ask me, the cup is always half full!
