I'm a Computer

My writing style can be compared to a computer because on certain networks it is slow and painstaking, but on the right network, it is fast and easy. The best "network" for me is opinion pieces, such as persuasive essays or reviews. I am good at writing these because I am an opinionated and eloquent person, so I don't run out of good points to make. When I get an assignment that plays to my strengths I usually start right away by writing out the whole thing, then going through it every few days and fine-tuning it. However, when I get an assignment that I know will be more difficult, I tend to procrastinate because it takes me much longer to come up with good ideas. The hardest things for me to write are stories. I never seem to be able to make them seem realistic. I think the computer is a great metaphor for me because it can be a bit inpredictable, and it depends on the factors around it.
