Kaitlyn Bigica is the Social Media Assistant at Garvey Communication Associates Inc. and will be graduating with a journalism degree from the University of Massachusetts Amherst in May, 2012. During summer 2011, she interned at CNBC.com where she produced stories and slideshows for the site. She is also active in the UMass community as a staff writer at her college newspaper, a student adviser and head of public relations for the UMass Speaker Series. The first semester of her junior year was spent in Barcelona, where she studied the history of Spain, architecture and Spanish.
