Hello, I’m Kaitlyn! I'm currently a member of Academy's class of 2019. I've been attending Academy at the Lakes for 13 years, and this is my fourth year as a Student Ambassador. I am a member of the varsity softball and volleyball teams, and I am also involved in Science Olympiad, Key Club, Chorus, and Med Seminar

My favorite tradition at Academy is definitely the "AL Pal" program. At Academy, you are assigned a buddy within your House. A few times throughout the school year, you do activities together through the Buddy Reading Program, and on House Day (our annual Field Day event). I think it's great that you can watch your younger buddy grow up and see your older buddy head off to college.

One of the best qualities about Academy is the one-on-one teaching. The teachers truly care about you and will go the extra mile to help you.

I am proud to say that I am a Wildcat. I know that when I graduate from Academy at the Lakes, I will have friendships and memories that will last a lifetime and I will be more than prepared for whatever comes my way.
