I'm Kaitlynn, a Family Life Educator and founder of Happy Day Play, Inc., where my mission is to raise the standard for everything families are offered in the thick of the younger years: from the content and recommendations they rely on to the classes they attend, the products they buy, and the brands that serve them.

Today's parents are more knowledgeable than ever, intentional about the best decisions for their children, and deeply invested in their families. I build the modern grown-up and me classes and events, relatable evidence-based content, and fun experiences that finally meet them there, designed around the whole family (not just the kids, because parents matter too!)

I came to this from inside educational parenting media, my training in family science and childhood development, and personal experience as a mother. Once upon a time, I even did organic content strategy for the digital arm of What to Expect, one of the most trusted names in pregnancy and parenting, responsible for bringing evidence-based child development and parenting guidance to millions of families a month on the award-winning app and website.

That vantage point exposed a gap the whole industry kept missing: families had endless trusted information at their fingertips, but no one connecting it to how they actually live. So I built the model that closes it.

In 2023, Happy Day Play began as an online platform offering modern families evidence-based recommendations and guidance, and demand grew so fast that in-person classes and events soon followed.

Today it is the only family learning company built on family science, a complete framework for how modern families learn, play, and grow together. It spans evidence-based content, recommendations, and developmental reviews; a dozen-plus class formats and multi-week early learning programs; school partnerships and curriculum consulting; and brand collaborations and live family events.

Happy Day Play is the only multi-prong learning company built on a true modern family life education lens that follows families through their whole lives: the content they rely on to make decisions, the products they bring home, the downtime they share, and the everyday moments where they actually grow. Whether a family meets us through an article, a class, or an event, the standard is the same.

As a Family Life Educator and mom of two, everything I do in my work has to pass one test: would it be good enough for my own family? With Happy Day Play, it unequivocally is :-)
