I am from Beijing, China. I am currently a full time student at the Isenberg School of Management at the University of Massachusetts Amherst. I am sophmore, finance major, economics minor.
Borned in a family which had sufferred poverty , and got well-off through their hard work, I know a lot more about the importance of being diligent, insistent, modest, and entreprenant. I learned a lot from my family’s experience. I feel it is my destiny to keep working hard and to develop my family even better. The stories of entrepreneurs are so attractive to me. Being an entrepreneur is my long term goal that I want to achieve in the future.
I found that I enjoy doing investments after I had my “offical” first investment this year to one of my friends. I think how to do investments is what a should learn right now. Also, I think I need to gain more experience before I can start a business. Learning about investment and gaining experience the short term goal that I want to achieve.
Along with these , one thing I want to explore more about is the way resources are being distributed. I think there should be a better way of distribution. The resources we have should be able to support everyone’s needs on the earth, but not everyone’s needs are being satisfied under the current “distribution system”. What is a better way of distribution? This is a good question that I want to answer in the future, or at least answer part of it.
