Welcome to my about.me page. I'm Maureen, but I prefer to be addressed as Kai online until I know you well enough that I feel comfortable on a first name basis. I live to write and I love to read. No matter where life takes me, you can always find me engrossed in a good book or writing the latest story that bounces around in my head. I also enjoy crime shows, with Numb3rs being my bias and Don Eppes my favorite character in the history of anything in existence.

A little about me is that I grew up in an amazing family who would later turn out to be my biggest support system when life decided to crash and burn on me. My Dad is my rock to lean on and my Aunt became the next best thing to my mother since she passed away on June 21st, 2014. I live with various things, but I don't let them stop me from becoming the person that I want to be. I did for most of my life, but now I'm learning to become my own individual. It's an amazing feeling.

I came out three times in my life. First was bisexual, second was gay, and third was bisexual once again. To put a specific label on my romantic and sexual attractions, I'm a biromantic (romantic attraction to males and females) asexual (no attraction to any gender or sex). My main weaknesses are dark hair and small hands in women, tattoos, piercings, and Asians of both sexes.
