Hi everyone!

I know you've clicked this link to learn more about me, so I'll just get right to the point.

I was a high school English teacher for two years before I quit to go back to grad school to get a degree in professional writing.

I love to write poetry, fiction, and have even dabbled in non fiction. I am an avid reader from the classics to more contemporary novels. My favorite authors are Melville, Hawthorne, Morrison, and Bukowski.

I love animals and have a one eyed cat named Stringer Bell (yes, from The Wire). But, I love all animals and do everything I can to keep them safe, healthy, and happy.

I enjoy trying new foods, cooking, and making chili.

Someday I will be on Jeopardy!
