I am a student at the University of North Texas (UNT) in the Mayborn School of Journalism. My concentration is in Print and Digital News. I am a senior and plan to graduate in May of 2016 with my Bachelor Degree. I have an Associate Degree from Heartland Community College (HCC) in Normal Illinois.

I worked full time at Country Financial while I went to HCC part time. I started as a temporary employee in June of 2010 and was hired permanently in December of 2012. I quite my job at Country Financial to continue my education at UNT.

I wrote for the Heartland Spectator, the student newspaper at HCC. That is where I fell in love with journalism. I also wrote for the NT Daily, the student newspaper at UNT for one semester.
