Hi, I’m Kalen! (she/her/hers) I'm an Academic Advisor at the Undergraduate Advising Center (UAC) at KU.
I grew up in Topeka, KS (Hoy Hoy Mighty Troy!) and received my Bachelor's degree in Theatre Performance from KU after some stops and starts. My journey as an advisor started when I was a Peer Advisor here in the UAC, and now I get to do it full-time!
I'm passionate about doing college at your own pace and in a way that works for you. I am a big planner and stationary nerd, and I love helping people find an organization/time management system that works for them.
When I'm not working, you can find me involved with community theatre, playing video games, watching movies, and searching for the best breakfast that Lawrence has to offer. (It's The Roost, no contest.)
