Kali Bowden

Hello, I’m Kali.

I’m a student at Syracuse University finishing up my senior year of undergrad for my BFA in Art Photography with a Music Industry minor. I am a fan of cult classic films as well as a huge marvel universe nerd, I love crafting and interior design, and am quite the foodie especially when I'm traveling which is often. In my artistic practice, I am interested in mixed media and installation-based work, graphic design, any and all types of photography, video especially when it comes to using drones, and creating books and zines.

I have experience working both in the studio and out as a photographer, lighting technician, stylist, and art director. I've worked for many student-run magazines as well as our campus newspaper, shooting everything from fashion spreads to field hockey. I work in the School of Visual and Performing Arts as a lab manager in the photography department overseeing the usage and maintaining the functionality of digital labs, analog labs, and lighting studios. I also do other freelance jobs here and there such as event and concert photography, instructing boating lessons in the summers, and being a barista.
