Kallan is a student at Union University where she studies public relations and marketing. She serves as the arts & entertainment editor of Cardinal & Cream. She is a member of Zeta Tau Alpha and the Public Relations Student Society of America. She has also been a senator for the Student Government Association as well as an award-winning member of the Bulldog debate team which was ranked #1 internationally out of all IPDA teams in 2015.

Kallan has experience as a circulation worker at the Obion County Public Library in her hometown of Union City, Tennessee where her family and dog, Piper, reside. She has served as the Marketing Representative for West Tennessee Restoration and has worked on the Strategic Partnership Team at the CMA Fest. She is currently a freelance writer for a variety of outlets like The Jackson Business Journal.

Kallan's friends would describe her as a compassionate, creative and selfless INFP. She is constantly day-dreaming and crafting new ideas. For Kallan, there is not just one dream job but many: coffee shop owner, college professor, professional songwriter, and Rolling Stone journalist, amongst others.
