Keith Allison

Mr Keith Allison is a Consultant Plastic Surgeon at The James Cook University Hospital, South Tees NHS Foundation Trust. He attended Sheffield Medical School, graduating as a doctor (MB ChB) in 1992. Keith continued his surgical training in North Staffordshire, becoming a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons (FRCS) in 1997. He then trained in Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery and passed the Plastic Surgery Specialist Fellowship (FRCS Plast) of the Royal College of Surgeons in 2002

Before becoming a Consultant Plastic Surgeon in 2004, Keith was the first plastic surgical trainee to undertake a formal cosmetic surgery fellowship at the prestigious McIndoe Surgical Centre

Keith has an extensive research portfolio having published in excess of 50 papers and book chapters. He also holds a medical doctorate degree MD for his research into the clinical applications of lasers and is a member of the editorial board for the Journal of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery

Keith has a wide-ranging general plastic surgery practice in the NHS based at The James Cook University Hospital, where he has been employed as a fully accredited Consultant Plastic Surgeon since 2005. Keith’s special interests are in cancer and trauma reconstruction skin, breast and head & neck

Keith’s Aesthetic / Cosmetic surgery practice allows him to care for patients in the independent sector in Teesside. His interests include all aspects of aesthetic facial (eyelid surgery, nose, facelift, ears, breast enlargement, breast reduction, breast uplift and body contouring (abdominoplasty/liposuction) surgery

A member of booth British Association of Plastic and Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeons (BAPRAS) and the British Association of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons (BAAPS).
