Kalyn Blacklock

Kalyn is the co-owner of F.U.E.L Fitness and overall inspiration to those who know her. She is an athlete, entrepreneur, cancer survivor, Chiari survivor and mother to her wonderful 7-year-old, Ky. Kalyn lives out every aspect of what it is to be a competitor. Having battled cancer twice while managing through a life-threatening brain disorder, she has been the driving force behind two successful business ventures, mother and overall lover of life.

Kalyn has competed in a number of local events including Tough Mudder on October 6th, just days after her doctors discovered that her cancer had metastasized into Bone Marrow Cancer stage II. That wasn’t going to stop Kalyn from participating in this event - actually, nothing really ever has. She lives with a “mind over matter” attitude and believes a clean diet, a solid workout regiment, a positive attitude, and being surrounded by loved ones has made her a better fighter, competitor, business woman and mother. In her words, “I want to let people know that a healthy life style does make a difference. No matter who you are or what your ailment is.”

Kalyn is co-owner of F.U.E.L Fitness, founder & CEO of OSS Consulting and founder of The Chiari Warrior Foundation. She holds a dual bachelors Degree in Government and Communications from The University of Texas at Austin.
