“….It is a good divine that follows his own instructions……”- Portia (Merchant of Venice, Act1, Sc.1).

After graduating amidst the chaotic aftermath of global recession of 2008, I joined my family business of trading of machine parts in hopes of making it bigger, but in the process, water and waste-water management industry caught my attention and I realized that there is a huge scope in the area wherein one can not only venture for his own business, but also partner with Government in Public-Private Partnership to provide solutions to defunct municipals in far flung parts of India and other water scarce Nations. Now, my dream is to rejuvenate the water industry in India, so that potable water moves from being a luxury commodity to a universal resource. By design, I joined Tata Consulting Engineers Ltd. to get technical knowledge in water management systems.
I have always been an avid sportsman, a movie-image enthusiast and an art aficionado and in past few years I have developed a keen interest in adventure sports. In my current company, I formed a secret society- ‘Ardent Rovers’-that shows off by taking hiking to a whole another level. We choose peak seasons to traverse on most arduous terrain and spread awareness on child education and benefits of clean potable water to people living in/around hills. This year, I am hoping to raise $1,000 for 'charity: water' from a campaign 'trek for water'.
So far, I am on the path of changing myself, in order to change the world.
