Training is his forte, Punch is revered as Mahaguru of training in India – by Jaycees, Rotarians and Lions
Since 1979, Punch has been a trainer for Corporates, NGOs, Service Organisations and Educational Institutions. He has conducted Train the Trainers Programme, through which he had helped nearly 2000 becoming trainers
He cherishes his training programme on train – Opportunity on Rails – a career guidance programme to students traveling with them from Karur to Trichy
Has M A Economics, M A English, M Phil English and Diploma in Journalism; he served as a Professor of English, teaching English for 37 years.
He would proudly say, Teacher in him helped him becoming a trainer; a trainer in him helped him to be a better teacher.
He has served JCI India as Zone President in 1981 and member National Faculty Cell. He was Coordinator for JCI-India Trainers' Grid. He was Chairman.
He has piloted many National / International / Leadership Camps and National Integration Camps
He has authored books on Vetrikku Vazhikaatti, State and National Officers Training Seminar, OPTICAL PSYCHOLOGY, TEAM BUILDING, TRAINING THE TRAINERS, WORKBOOK ON JOURNALISM, State & National Officers Training Seminar [SNOTS85] Manual, LOTS Manual and has an audio cassette on READ FASTER : LIVE BETTER.
A representative of Association of Indian Universities as a Judge of Inter-University Youth Parliament Competition and Inter-University Cultural Contests. He has organized youth talent competitions like TYSON [Test Your Skills ON], Topnotcher, Niche Carver, Outstanding NSS Volunteer Award Programme and BARD Cultural Competitions. He is the event-manager for THE HINDU Young World Fest at Trchy.
Had helped through model interviews, at least NINE from Trichy becoming IAS officers [the first being Ms Jacintha Lazarus, IAS – B Com student of HCC, now Dist Commissioner in Manipur] and 20+ state officers
