· Part of the senior trading team conducting bunker (marine fuels) trading activities across the globe including sales from existing accounts and building relationships with suppliers in the region.
· Managed to exceed sales and gross profit performance for the year 2010 with an increase in sales volume of 12% and an increase in the margin by 27%.
· Devised marketing plans, determined sales targets and defined pricing strategies for products based on the projected demand, supply and price fluctuations of marine fuel oil as per Platt’s assessments for the region.
· Monitored the KPI's of the sales team, to meet and set targets. Managed to maintain targets with falling demand in 2008 - 2009 by targeting blue chip customers.
