Kamilla Ingibergsdóttir

Kamilla Ingibergsdóttir is Head of PR and Marketing at the Iceland Airwaves music festival. In the past she has worked for Iceland Music Export and the You Are In Control conference. She has degrees in Creative Project Management, Journalism and Anthropology from the University of Iceland and The Kaospilots in Denmark.

Kamilla comes from a long line of drummers even though she can’t tell a snare drum from a cymbal. Her uncle was one of the founders of Hljómar, the Icelandic equivalent to the Beatles and her dad has had a studio in the backyard and band practice in the garage for as long as she can remember. Kamilla feels it is her familial duty to work in music.
