Kamran Khan
New York
Kamran Khan is an associate mechanical engineer working on the Steam Generator Analysis and Performance team at KAPL (Knolls Atomic Power Lab) operated by BMPC (Bechtel Marine Propulsion Corporoation). He graduated from the Polytechnic Institute of New York Unviersity with experience in a wide array of fields including but not limited to microfluidic channels, the design/modelling/fabrication of an aquatic habitat within a limited budget, redesign of a solar-powered robotic vessel with the purpose of monitoring pollution in the Gowanus Canal (Project: Brooklyn Atlantis) a publication in the international society of optics and photonics (SPIE, link at the bottom of this page), and a successful project dealing with the application of variable wing span in order to achieve improved range, lower take-off/landing distances and enhanced fuel efficiency statistics in a scaled R.C. aircraft.)
Kamran is also an enthusiastic entrepreneur. In addition, to being the CMO of 'LinkedIn On Steroids', he is an aviation enthusiast, a great admirer of science (physics in particular), a religious follower of physical fitness ("working out") and an avid reader.
He also tends to take himself not-so-seriously. He enjoys playing ping-pong any hour of the day, takes satisfaction in helping other people to the best of his ability. Do not get him started on the subject of physical fitness or any gym-related subject for that matter because he can go on for hours.
And yes if you haven't figured it out already, he has an odd infatuation with mustangs.
The motto he lives by:
"If you really want something to the extent that it is all you think about, you will envision it so many times that the universe will rearrange itself to make your vision become reality."
