Hello! I'm Kamy Smelser, a junior at Columbia College Chicago with only two semesters to go before graduation! I'm studying journalism with a focus on magazine writing and a minor in social media digital strategy, it's a mouth full to say that. I'm working as a staff reporter at the award-winning, student-run newspaper, The Columbia Chronicle. I'm also the managing editor of our student-run magazine, Echo Magazine. Over the course of my few years in school I've also had to the chance to publish my work as a reporter in ChicagoTalks, Frank Magazine and Gateway Journalism Review.
