My name is Kandice Miles and I am a senior at Converse College in Spartanburg, SC. I plan on graduating Converse College with dual degrees, a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry and a Bachelor of Arts in History. I am a member of the American Chemical Society and I have just finished my second research internship at Oak Ridge National Laboratory in Oak Ridge, TN. I am a head delegate member of the debate team here at Converse College where we represent countries from NATO and the Arab League. As a representative of the team, I am also a National Model Arab League Chair for the second year in a row, as well as the Secretary General for the National Model NATO conference. I am involved in several campus organizations as well as a volunteer for several non-profits in the Spartanburg area. I am aspiring to be a research chemist and I am inquiring about specifics within that field. I am currently looking into options for graduate school and professional careers.
