I have been programming since I got my first computer at age nine. Numerous mentors in my life have recognized my tenacity to learn and build in code and allowed me to experience and grow under their guidance.
Those investments in my professional accomplishments and personal growth have facilitated a 30 year path of achievement across several sectors including telecom, supply chain management and software development.
I also enjoy taking my small sailing yacht 'Fjord Star' out on Lake Lanier to get away. However this year she's been in dry dock while I learn to completely restore her hull, deck and cabin.
In addition to professional work and sailing, I've recently started training to run the Peachtree Road Race 2016. I have fallen in love with walking/running - or as a I call it "talking" - and am a member of the Atlanta Track Club. I've only been training a couple weeks, but enjoy blogging and vlogging from events and major milestones.
