"Insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result" - Albert Einstein

I finished my Bachelors of Art in Communication-Broadcast Journalism from Wichita State University in May of 2009 as the Outstanding Graduate in Communications- Broadcast Journalism while also receiving a minor in History. I also earned a second Bachelor's degree from Mississippi State University in Broadcast Meteorology and received my degree in May 2012. I have interned at KSN-W located here in Wichita twice, once in high school for two years (2003 and 2004) and most recently from September 2008 through May 2010 and used the studio resources at KSN-W to build small weathercasts for the on-campus weekly newscast at Wichita State last school year. I also have radio experience through my brief employment at Entercom Radio that ended due to them needing a full time employee and me being already employed at Spirit by that point.

Also in my classes at Wichita State, I developed the skills to shoot, write, and edit stories, as well as co-producing. We were well schooled in all aspects of communications so we could succeed at any direction we wanted to in the field of Communications. I have experience in multiple forms of social media; from Facebook (since April 2005) and Twitter to LinkedIn, Google+ and YouTube. I also have organization skills through chair positions in my fraternity while in college and positions on house corporation board as an alumnus as well as personal skills developed through numerous national and regional leadership schools through my fraternity. I believe in hard work to get any job done and to make sure the job is done on time and accurately. I strive to work hard every day and meet strict deadlines through my current job at an aircraft assembly plant. I work hard to provide support for my young family and I am just looking for someone to see the potential and dedication I have for the field, as well as the yearning to prove how good I can be given a chance.
