Kang Zhang

Hello, World my name is Kang Zhang and I am an engineer from Los Angeles, California. Though I was born and raised in Michigan, my family moved to Los Angeles when I was 6 and I have been here ever since.

My trade is as an Engineer—more specifically I am a Chemical Engineer. I currently share my knowledge as a consultant for various organizations. Quite frankly, I enjoy my time on the road and experiencing new people and cultures. I think traveling for work gets a bad stigma and isn't considered an opportunity and a privilege. I like to see my life as one big privilege and it helps me be a better service to those I work with.

Outside of work I am a big sports fan. I might be a little bias, but I think LA is the best city on the planet. I am an LA sports fan till the day I die—I love The Lakers, The Dodgers and now The Rams. There is nothing like being at the games and sharing those moments with my 2 teenage kids.

At the end of the day, I live my life as a family man. I like to see myself as someone simple and grateful. Nevertheless, that is a little bit about my career, my family, my interest and of course a glimpse into myself.
