He told him to go to a recording studio and paid for Kang JJ’s ever first record, ‘Muc ti nguan’ (plentiful gifts - a song that describes how rich the black African in South Sudan could have been with all the blessings/natural resources, if it wasn’t for war and marginalization) and released it in 2004, just a year before the Comprehensive peace Agreement(CPA) that led to a referendum and paved way to South Sudan independence in 2011, signed in Nairobi, Kenya. In 2006 he performed "Muc ti Nguan" during the CPA anniversary in Addis Ababa where he patriotically left the crowd in tears of relieve in an atmosphere of a ceasefire and a hope for an end to the war in Sudan, the Africa’s longest Civil War.
His other single album “Wengdial a puonyde”(all eye on her), released in 2005, got him the sponsorship of ‘Sudan Radio Service’ (now ‘Eye Radio’) in Nairobi Kenya for a full album record in 2007. Kang JJ had started an Inner peace tour in November 2018 in East Africa and his current destination is Australia.
