Kanishka Rathnayake

International Development Professional

Kanishka has over twenty years of experience in the development sector in multiple contexts, ranging from grassroots to the international development and safeguarding. He has provided technical support for many organisations, including the community and voluntary sector, in policy development and advocacy, research, government of childhood, development program design, and skill building across many countries. Kanishka holds an MA in Safeguarding and Security, MSc in Clinical and Health Psychology and a Master of Regional Development and Planning, along with many certifications obtained from governing bodies as a development professional, including PMD Pro.

He is currently residing in the UK and is engaged in policy and advocacy within the voluntary sector, focusing on building the capacities of practitioners.
