Beyond my artistic pursuits, I am an active member of the Native Community, wearing multiple hats as an artist, poet, activist, student, & teacher. I take great joy in inspiring emerging scholars to explore their creative paths and embrace the empowering concept of decolonization. My journey has been shaped not only by academic achievements—a dual A.S+B.S with honors in Web Design and Interactive Media from the Art Institute of CA—but also by a lifetime of cultural training and mentorship, delving into the wisdom of Indigenous Pedagogies & Traditional Ecological Knowledge.
In my artistic vision, I strive to convey the essential aspects of Native culture through visual means, reminding our community of the timeless presence & profound significance of Indigenous perspectives & cultural continuity. My voice & art serve as a powerful reminder that our heritage is alive & thriving.
As the CEO of Kanyon Konsulting, I am committed to bridging the gap between indigenous and contemporary value systems. We offer innovative consulting services that foster understanding and respect for Native traditions in today's digital age. Simultaneously, I hold the responsibility of being a caretaker for Indian Canyon "Federally recognized Indian Country" nestled between SF & Monterey. Checkout our Patreon.
