Karabo Chantel Mafora

My name is Karabo Chantel Mafora and I am a preservice teacher specialising in Geography which falls under Department of Geography, Environmental Management and Energy Studies (GEMES) and Addressing Neurodevelopmental Learning Needs (NDL). I am a person who is very enthusiastic about finding out about strategies to attain sustainable development in South African local communities and critically analyse Neurodevelopmental Learning barriers of learners. Therefore, this is what inspired me to specialise in Geography and NDL.

Aside from being a preserving teacher, I have a private online tutoring company (Chantel’s online tutoring company) which helps learners from different high schools with their home-works, breakdown complex context into simpler digestible chunks of information, and enriching them with more knowledge and skills in subject such as Natural Science, Geography and Life Science. I also love to cook and I braid hair as a side hustle to generate income.
