I live in Kannapolis, NC, and work as a math tutor and curriculum developer.

As sole proprietress of Value Added Tutoring, I am committed to making math more accessible for the students I tutor. In addition to tutoring one-on-one and in groups, I offer video tutorials aimed at developing deeper conceptual understanding of the mathematical principles behind common homework problems.

I am especially excited about an integrated curriculum project I am working on for Christian educators, parents, and students called ASPIRE for Christ. With an eye toward connecting the history of Christian thought with multiple subject areas and contemporary issues, this project flows out of my lifelong passion: inspiring young adults to use their minds and hearts for Christ while shaping their community and culture for good.
