Karamdeep Nijjar

Karamdeep is a member of iNovia’s IT investment team with a focus on software and digital media. Prior to iNovia, Karamdeep served as a subject matter expert at RBC on a variety of cross enterprise software architecture initiatives, concentrating on strategies to maximize flexibility and reuse. He also made some notable product contributions, including leading the design and development of a new Interac® Chip technology application currently deployed nationwide.

Karamdeep made the transition to venture capital after completing his MBA at the Richard Ivey School of Business. He also has a Bachelor of Mathematics in Honours Computer Sciences – Bioinformatics from the University of Waterloo. While still a student at Waterloo, Karamdeep enjoyed project and engineering roles at Platform Solutions in Silicon Valley and Fidelity Information Services in Toronto.
