Karan Adani

Karan Adani is the chief executive officer (CEO) of the Adani Ports and Special Economic Zones (APSEZ). As the CEO of the subsidiary, he handles the Ports & Terminals, Industrial Land and Logistics. His role in the organisation has been instrumental in the transformation of the subsidiary and creating world class services to render it an integrated logistics company.

He has impeccable entrepreneurial skills and a wide working knowledge of the technical aspects. A Graduate in Economics from the University of Purdue, USA, he is the son of business tycoon and Adani Group chairman, Gautam Adani. He was married to Paridhi Shroff in 2013 in Goa.

Under his vision and leadership, the Hazira Port recently obtained 2 new 8000 m3 Trailing Suction Hopper Dredgers (TSHDs), making it the biggest dredger fleet in India. APSEZ, the largest operator of ports in India, noted an almost 20% rise in fiscal-third quarter profit.
