Karanam Shrivasta

Student, Web Developer, and Software Engineer

Karanam Shrivasta is a 15-year-old Cybersecurity Enthusiast, AI Learner, and aspiring Ethical Hacker from India.

With 200+ certifications across cybersecurity, cloud, and AI, he focuses on building practical, hands-on skills rather than just theoretical knowledge. His learning journey includes labs and programs from IBM, Google, AWS, EC-Council, Fortinet, and Johns Hopkins.

He is also a multi-hackathon winner, securing 3+ hackathon wins across national-level events, where he has built innovative, real-world solutions under pressure.

His core interests include ethical hacking, post-exploitation techniques, cloud security (AWS & Azure), and security frameworks such as NIST and ISO 27001. He is also exploring the intersection of AI and cybersecurity, particularly in threat detection and automation.

He has built a basic SOC dashboard during his winter internship with Techkriti IIT Kanpur to monitor brute-force attacks and ranked in the top quartile of IBM’s Cyber Security Assessment (Security+ level tasks).

Karanam maintains a personal home lab using Kali Linux, Metasploit, and a Raspberry Pi honeypot to continuously test, learn, and simulate real-world attack scenarios.

Currently, he is working toward CompTIA Security+ certification, contributing to real-world security projects, and preparing to participate in competitive CTF challenges.

He believes cybersecurity is not just about tools — it’s about mindset, persistence, and understanding how systems break to make them stronger.
