Kara Place

Kara grew up in Middleofnowhere, Pennsylvania. She attended Penn State University and received a degree in Film and Video. Her German and Sociology minors have, for the most part, only come in handy when judging groups of people from a distance and eavesdropping on tourists’ conversations, however, her film degree (supplemented by a long lineage of film-centric genetics) has helped her fast track into the position of Senior Producer at Bent Image Lab- an animation production company in Portland, OR. Kara has a strong work ethic, impeccable production sensibilities and a wonderful rapport with crew (as well as with cats).
