Mini chiller is a water cooling device that pumps cold water with a pump for cooling purposes after cooling. If this device is used as a building cooling system, cold water is pumped with a pump to the fan coils or air conditioners inside the building, where it cools the air, and if this device is used as an industrial cooling system, Cold water enters a heat exchanger or industrial device and lowers its temperature. The most widely used type of this system is the air-cooled compression mini chiller. What is meant by air cooling is that the device's condenser (shown in the figure below with a yellow box) is made of finned copper tubes, which is cooled by a fan, and unlike other types, it does not consume any water. It means that cooling tower and its accessories are not needed to cool the condenser.

In each part of the desired building, one or more fan coils are installed in various forms on the ceiling, ground and wall, and the mini chiller system cools the air by cooling the water and pumping it to the fan coils. For heating, instead of cold water, it is enough to pump a wall-mounted or floor-mounted gas-fired hot water or a cast iron boiler in the engine room to the fan coils.
