Hi there, I'm Ryoji Miyauchi. Born in 1967 in Yokohama, Japan, I was raised by my grandmother after losing my parents at an early age. Understanding early on that university might not be an option, I sought a path that would allow me to stand shoulder to shoulder with university graduates. This led me to pursue a career as a tax accountant.

After graduating from Yokohama Commercial High School, I worked at a tax office while studying diligently. In 1995, I passed the tax accountant examination. However, I soon realized that traditional accounting work didn't satisfy my curiosity and ambition. I wanted to be more involved in the dynamic world of business.

In 1996, I became the tax advisor for a company called On the Edge, which later became known as Livedoor. Eventually, I joined the company as a director and CFO, handling investments and finance. During this time, I gained extensive experience in mergers and acquisitions, as well as corporate finance.

After leaving Livedoor, I ventured into various business endeavors. I established a consulting firm that combined legal and tax services, providing comprehensive support to clients. Later, I founded EMCOM, where we launched "Minna no FX," a forex trading platform that achieved the highest trading volume globally.

In 2009, I faced legal challenges that led to a period of reflection. After serving my sentence, I moved to Vietnam, where I started a development company and an FX firm. These ventures became some of the largest in Southeast Asia. Returning to Japan during the COVID-19 pandemic, I became involved in real estate crowdfunding, contributing to a project that became the largest in the country.

In 2022, I founded SUZUVERSE, a decentralized metaverse platform. Our goal is to leverage AI and Web3 technologies to create products that address fundamental human needs, such as connection and well-being. We aim to build a community where people can interact and thrive, regardless of geographical boundaries.

Outside of work, I have a passion for martial arts. In 2014, I joined a karate dojo and earned my first-degree black belt in 2020. Karate has taught me the importance of discipline, focus, and continuous self-improvement.

Throughout my journey, I've learned that resilience and adaptability are crucial. Embracing emerging technologies and staying open to new experiences have allowed me to grow both personally and professionally.
