Hi, I’m Kareim. I currently live in Nashville with my beautiful wife and daughters (pictured above), but I'm originally from Spanish Town, Jamaica (hail up yaad massive!)

I’m an investment funds attorney at The Investments Lawyers, PLLC. We represent both investment managers / sponsors (GPs) and capital providers (LPs) in forming or investing in venture capital, private equity, and real estate funds and SPVs. We also handle asset classes such as hedge funds and private credit.

I began my career at a large national law firm, where I was fortunate to work on a wide variety of sophisticated matters. Although I currently practice exclusively in the funds space, I bring broad experience in corporate transactions (VC and M&A) and general corporate matters, giving me a well-rounded perspective regarding funds.
