Karen Henderson

I started my dog walking business at the beginning of 2010. I had been working part time and taking our own two Westies, Rory and Calum (named after the brilliant song writing duo, founders and backbone of Runrig) out for their daily walks each afternoon. After giving my life a lot of thought, I decided it's about time for a change and set up Karen's K9 Walks.

The first few months were difficult as with any new venture, but with hard work and determination, I managed to pick up my first clients and the adventure began. The intention was never to run this as a million-making business (and a good thing too!) but always to do something that I enjoyed, that would benefit my clients and to finally do what I wanted to do in my life.
