Karen Moffat

I'm an English teacher with a passion for digital technology. I've worked in international schools in Hong Kong and the Middle East, for most of my teaching career. I've held administrative positions in several schools and am now working as an advisor.

I majored in both English Literature and History of Art in my first degree and taught both Art and English for a couple of years but then taught only English. Nevertheless, I've always maintained a strong interest in art and graphic design as well as in language and literature. i'm a voracious reader and a bibliophile and I have an MPhil in Victorian Literature.

My particular interests are in curriculum design, pedagogy and educational technology. I'm also interested in character development and values-based teaching.
