Karen Mulhauser

Karen Mulhauser is the President of Mulhauser & Associates, a DC-based consulting firm that provides advisory and management services to progressive candidates, grantmakers and nonprofit organizations. She has extensive leadership experience, having served in several senior Executive positions and on over 30 nonprofit boards. She is known for her successful campaign management and coalition building, and has organized major electoral initiatives for more than three decades.
She is the founder of Consulting Women, a marketing and networking platform that serves over 700 professional women in DC and nationwide, and a co-founder of the Women’s Information Network - a leadership development, professional and mentoring network for young, prochoice women in DC and NYC.
Karen currently serves as President of the United Nations Association of the National Capital Area (President), Vice Chair City At Peace, and Chair of the Advisory Council of Women's Information Network- which annually presents the Karen Mulhauser Award, recognizing female leaders for their exemplary efforts to support and empower young, democratic women.
