Karen Aguirre

Karen Aguirre is a freshman at Texas Tech University where she is working on a dual-major in Finance and Accounting at the Rawls College of Business. She is projected to graduate in May 2018. Meanwhile, she intends to learn Mandarin while completing a minor in Spanish, in which she is fluent. Karen intends to continue her higher-level education by receiving a Masters in both Finance and Accounting.

Karen was born and raised in Bakersfield, California, and attended East Bakersfield High School. During her time there, she aspired to look beyond her horizons by encountering new experiences, and as a result she chose to attend Texas Tech University. Karen is extremely ambitious and persistent when it comes down to accomplishing her goals, which separates her from others. She realizes that in order for her to accomplish her lifetime goal of becoming a CEO, there is a procedure of minor goals that she must first acquire prior to her ultimate goal.
