Karen Schulze
Consultant, Designer, and Project Manager in Atlanta, GA
I am a senior instructional design consultant with over 20 years experience creating talent development learning solutions for leadership, engineering, technology, sales and education professionals.
So, what gets me excited? Working for clients who are interested in offering measurable talent development solutions that converge at the intersection of the neruoscience, NextGen learning technologies and design innovation within their organization.
I have been an integral part of multiple project teams, both as a leader and as an instructional design expert, designing both stand alone learning solutions, as well as large scale organizational change initiatives that have required the design of an integrated curriculum with specific professional development pathways directly tied to specific business goals.
In addition, I have worked within the traditional, waterfall ADDIE ISD methodology and in Agile, Rapidprototyping or RAD environments.
I have extensive experience in each of the 5 key phases of the ISD process- Needs Analysis, Instructional (UX) Design, Content Development or Curation, Delivery (LMS) and Evaluation (4 Levels), and project management.
Finally, I have designed and am able to offer a wide variety of learning and talent improvement “products” including e-learning, web-based, classroom/workshop, print-based and blended solutions.
During my down time, I enjoy walking my Eskie Ellie, practicing Yoga in Daily Life, going to the theatre and attending singer-songwriter events. In 2020, I’m determined to learn to play Pickelball!
