I am interested in people, in how we do things together to achieve better health outcomes. I'm an academic and I like to do research on how we can best use technology to improve the lives of people with health issues that don't go away. I am also the Postgraduate Director for Health Informatics and teach some courses on the topic, as well as supervise research students. Grounded Theory and Action Research are my preferred approaches to doing research.

To relax, I paint portraits in pastel, write poetry and stories, listen to and make music, and spend time with people (and drink excellent coffee).
