Karen Knox

I am currently working with the Panalatinga Partnership of schools as Coordinator : Primary Australian Curriculum.

Over the past few years I have worked both as a Mainstream and Intensive English Language Teacher at Pennington Primary School in Adelaide's western suburbs. I have held leadership positions as a Numeracy Coach, Coordinator of Teaching and Learning, Assistant Principal and Coordinator of Play based Learning.

My strengths are in the teaching of Mathematics and Student Engagement.

In 2013 I attended the ACER conference 'Teaching the Australian Curriculum: Excellence and Innovation in the Classroom'. The key learning was successful, authentic and inclusive practices for all learners and effective formative assessment strategies.
