Karen Albanese

After earning her Bachelor of Arts in organizational studies from Scripps College in Claremont, California, Karen Albanese found employment as a research analyst in charge of corporate development with Blue Shield of California. Karen Albanese subsequently accepted positions as a senior actuarial, benefits, and compensation consultant with Deloitte & Touche; vice president of employee benefit services with Johnson & Higgins/Marsh; and senior vice president of health and benefits consulting with Aon Hewitt.

While working for Aon Hewitt, Karen Albanese returned to the academic environment to complete the Executive Master of Business Administration Program at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles. She also holds credentials as a certified healthcare reform and employee benefit specialist.

Karen Albanese currently serves as the chief operating officer of Hixme, an employee benefit consultancy with headquarters in Agoura Hills, California. Since spearheading all facets of Hixme’s formation, Karen Albanese has continued to develop a wide array of innovative company-wide healthcare and employee benefit solutions.
